Opening Presents
We opened gifts from our Arizona family today because we'll be in Michigan for actual Christmas Day. We put gifts in front of Ryan to see how he'd react. Keep in mind, he mainly likes banging and shaking things at this point. He didn't get the whole ripping paper thing. In fact, it sort of scared him when I'd rip the paper. Thanks for all the great clothes and books, Nana & Popi, Aunt Betty & Unc, and Aunt Sue.

Let it Snow!
Today we had our first major snowfall of the season. Burke had a snow day from school so he got to stay home and play with me and Ryan. We ventured outside for a few minutes to take some pics and show Ryan snow (I also shoveled a path for Happy). Ryan wasn't too thrilled with the bundling up process and seemed kind of puzzled in general. Next year I bet he'll love it.

O Tannenbaum
We have watched Ryan go from musical observer to participant. It's fun to look back at videos of Burke playing music to Ryan and watch his progressing interest. In this video, Ryan and Burke play a duet of an old holiday favorite.

Los Dos Molinos
Burke introduced me to a restaurant in NYC called Los Dos Molinos. He knew it because the family also owned a Los Dos in Arizona. The Arizona Los Dos came first, then the deliciousness spread to NYC. I finally got to eat at the original Los Dos while we were Arizona over Thanksgiving. Here are some shots outside the restaurant.

Happy Thanksgiving
