Okay, on to Halloween... The boys got to dress up for the fall orchestra concert.
Evan is the green alien on the left side of the picture.
Burke is a burglar, and Ryan is wearing a red cape on the right-hand side of the picture.
Picking out pumpkins
The inflatable Frankenstein was doing a backbend, so Evan imitated.
Evan is camouflaged. Ryan presents a gourd.
Both boys now, present the featured gourd.
Silly boys.
Both boys fully scoop their pumpkins out, design and carve their own pumpkins. Burke cut off the tops, and then sat back. So independent these days.
Evan's jack-o-lantern
I take pictures, and bake pumpkin seeds.
It SNOWED on Halloween! I don't remember ever happening. It's been cold, and rainy, but NOT snow. Evan had a friend come over to brave the elements in the name of candy. They went out for a little less than an hour, before coming back to warm up. Ryan opted out of that first round. Evan and his friend, headed out again, and Ryan joined them. They stayed out for like 20 minutes. It was just too cold. I stayed home, and passed out candy to plenty of trick-or-treaters who were not intimidated by the weather. (Burke was traveling for work, and missed the festivities, though I texted him updates.)
💛🎃 We have de-Halloweened our house, and now are Thanksgiving-ifying! Evan reports that Thanksgiving is one of his favorites. Seeing family, the football, and food makes it feel "jolly". 💛🦃
