Evan lost his last baby tooth in Santa Fe on right before Christmas. I asked if it'd be okay to have the Tooth Fairy come when we got home, and he agreed. The precedent set with Ryan is that the official big reveal is connected to the loss of the last baby tooth, so I needed to be at home or orchestrate all that.
Once we were home, I looked back at all the data I'd collected on when/how Evan had lost each tooth, and composed a reflection letter, letting him know officially that he's part of the magic now. Then we had some conversations around all the questions and noticing he thought about these past six tooth-losing years.
Just as we celebrated the milestone of Evan losing his first tooth, so we celebrate this last tooth milestone. My baby is growing up!
