We all went back to school in late August, and it's pretty much been a whirlwind.
Evan and I went to the start up day at his school. This event takes place before school begins. Students pick up their schedules and Chromebooks, get their school pictures taken, try their locker combinations, and get to walk the path of their classes. This is our family's fifth and final time particpating in this event.
As an 8th grader, he's pretty much a middle school pro by now.

As an incoming 10th grader, Ryan has no special event prior to the first day. The fall tennis season begins a couple weeks prior to the start of school, so I asked him to take a quick photo outside the building following tennis practice. He was kind enough to oblige.
I am working in the same district, but I have a new role this year. So, I have a new work space. My new title is MTSS Coordinator/Instructional Coach. I am mainly supporting implementation of our new reading materials. I'm working more with adults than students. It's taking so getting used to, but I like it.

Like I said, Ryan played on the JV Tennis team again this year. He's making steady growth, and seems to enjoy himself. He's aiming for a varsity spot next year.

Evan is playing fall baseball with his new travel team The Rebels. They have him not only practicing baseball, but creating a vision board, thinking about his nutrition, and focusing more and more on strength training.
Evan's also running cross country again. He's steadily improving his time, and enjoying time with his teammates. We'll see if he continues in high school.
