Some miscellany from February that can be categorized as creative.
Ryan made some pancakes that looked delectable.
Ryan with a recent colored pencil piece that was meant to be in the style of artist Betty LaDuke . He was particularly proud of how the cello turned out, and was afraid to shade in the mountains.
Ryan played in a cello quartet for a band and orchestra boosters fundraiser.
We all enjoyed a quick getaway to Chicago to see Blue Man Group. I've been wanting to take the boys to see them perform, and it did NOT disappoint. So much fun, loud, interactive, multimedia, musical performance art. Paper rains down on the audience at the end of the show, and even covered himself.
Back home, Ryan completed a Lego version of van Gogh's The Starry Night. It was a Christmas present from my parents, and is able to wall mounted.
Evan got The Starry Night in puzzle form from my parents for Christmas. It was pretty tricky! The backs were color coded so you could separate the pieces into sections. Just finished it up, but sadly, it was missing two pieces! Ugh.
